apple ginger crisp

5 Ingredient Apple Crisp Recipe3/4 cup all-purpose flour
6 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon ground ginger
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
4 large granny smith apples peeled, cored, cut into 1 inch cubes

Preheat oven to 400°F. In a medium bowl, mix the flour, 4 tablespoons of sugar and ground ginger. Pour butter over dry ingredients and mix with a fork, breaking up any large chunks. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, combine apple cubes with remaining 2 tablespoons of sugar and mix. Pour into a baking dish and top with the crumble topping.

Bake for 20 minutes, then cover with foil for the remaining 10 minutes. Serve warm with scoops of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
